7th August 2010
Windsurfing: dip
Wind Direction: sw
Wind Stength: 10 KTS
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: good
Max Speed: no gps
Distance Covered: 4 hrs (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Wind was light at 1.30 when I arrive with just one other sailor there - then it freshened enough for F2 race/ 9.8M V8. Another great sail to the Manor on the plate on 2 tacks. Just great hugging the coast with onshore breeze which freshened even more at the manor. Best spot at felixstowe.
Just as I thought life dont get any better my 2009 X6 snapped, (sh..te boom), I had to turn the boom upside down and crawled the 2 miles back to the dip.
As nick was practising on formula went out again on a boom too short, so the sailed was belly up. Race nick to the manor, and he was stuffing me in 10kts - but he lost as the wind dropped, just enough for the plate of the F2 but not enough for the 162. With one tack to go nick was kissing my arse. Had to quickly derig to piss him off, whilst he was still on the water:0
To be fair nick cut me a good deal on a mast and drove me back to the dip as the wind went off and died, so he is number uno.
